🗣 English Support & Practical Notes
The restaurant does not clearly advertise an English menu, but during the visit English conversations were heard in the dining room, suggesting that basic English communication may be possible.
Dinner is served as a seasonal omakase course, which makes ordering straightforward once a reservation is secured.
Seating includes both counter seats surrounding the kitchen and several semi-private rooms, making the restaurant suitable for couples, solo diners, or business dinners.
Because the restaurant is popular and has limited seating, reservations are strongly recommended.
A Hidden Omakase in Shimbashi
During my stay in Shimbashi, I visited several small Japanese restaurants, but Yoshino stood out as one of the best overall experiences.
For this visit I chose the November seasonal omakase course.

The cooking style focuses on seasonal ingredients prepared with classic Japanese techniques. The dishes were not flashy, but everything was carefully executed.
The overall impression was simple:
very satisfying food.
At the beginning of the meal I was quite hungry and even considered ordering extra dishes from the menu.
However, as the course progressed, the portion balance turned out to be just right. By the end of the meal, I felt comfortably full without needing additional dishes.
That said, diners with larger appetites might enjoy ordering one or two extra items, which are typically priced around ¥800–¥1,200.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is calm and understated, typical of a small Japanese kappo restaurant.

Several semi-private rooms offer a more secluded dining experience, while the counter seats provide a view of the kitchen where the chef prepares each dish.
The space feels relaxed rather than formal, making it a comfortable place to enjoy both good food and sake at a leisurely pace.
Among the restaurants I visited during this stay in Shimbashi, Yoshino also felt particularly good value considering the quality of the food.
A Restaurant Worth Returning To
This was my first visit during a stay in October–November 2025.
Since then, I have attempted to reserve the restaurant twice during later visits in February, March, and April 2026, but both times the restaurant was already fully booked.
That alone says something about its popularity.
It remains one of the restaurants I am most eager to revisit on my next stay in the area.
⭐ Final Thoughts
Rating: ★4.4 / 5
A hidden gem for seasonal omakase in Shimbashi.
Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and a price that feels surprisingly fair for the quality offered.
