🗣 English Support & Practical Notes

There is no English menu, but the pasta options are fairly simple and can usually be ordered with translation apps.

The restaurant is very small and has counter seating only, so it works best for solo diners or casual meals rather than large groups.

Because the staff are relatively young, some basic assistance may be possible outside peak lunch hours.

A Tiny Pasta Shop in Tamachi

Pasta Vola is a compact pasta restaurant with only counter seating.

It’s the kind of place that could easily be overlooked — but once you taste the pasta, it becomes clear that the kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing.

This was my second visit, and the quality remained impressively consistent.

You can read that review here.

Fresh Pasta with Excellent Texture

The highlight of the restaurant is its fresh pasta, which has a wonderfully chewy texture.

On this visit we ordered several dishes:

  • perilla and shrimp peperoncino
  • classic carbonara
  • scallop and okra fresh tomato pasta
  • daily pasta special with green onion and duck

All were well prepared, but the peperoncino was particularly impressive.

The sauce was properly emulsified, creating that perfect balance between olive oil, pasta water, and seasoning.

Combined with the springy fresh pasta, the result was deeply satisfying.

Lunch Set Option

For this visit we ordered:

pasta

Set A (freshly baked bread and vegetable appetizer)

The combination made for a very satisfying lunch.

Portion sizes were generous enough without feeling overly heavy.

Timing Matters

Arriving after 1:00 pm increases the chances of getting a seat without waiting.

On weekends, the restaurant may allow ordering from the full menu during lunch hours, but on weekdays the lunch menu only is typically available.

Atmosphere

The restaurant is very compact, with counter seating only.

Moving around inside the restaurant can be a little tricky — if someone needs to pass behind you, it may require a bit of sideways “crab walking.”

Interestingly, there is a small park next door with a public restroom, so guests do not necessarily need to rely on the restaurant’s facilities.

Final Thoughts

Rating: ★4.1 / 5

A tiny counter pasta shop serving impressively good fresh pasta.

There may be other great pasta restaurants in the area worth exploring, but this one definitely earns a spot on the list.
