There is no English menu, but ordering is straightforward. All sandwiches are displayed clearly in a showcase, so pointing works easily.
The shop is takeaway-focused with no dine-in seating. It is ideal for grabbing something quick before or after visiting nearby attractions.
Because of its simplicity and visual ordering system, it is manageable even without Japanese language ability.
A Simple Stop Between Shrine Visits

A handwritten “TAKE OUT” sign adds to its local charm. It truly feels like a place known mainly to neighborhood regulars.
I purchased a two-sandwich pack (¥400–¥500).
The taste was straightforward and satisfying.
There are also fruit sandwiches and several drink options available.
Nothing extravagant.
Nothing overdesigned.
Just properly prepared sandwiches that feel thoughtful.
It is the kind of place that fits naturally into a walking itinerary.

Location & Atmosphere
CANARIA Sandwich is located very close to Kameido Tenmangu Shrine, known for its plum blossoms in early spring.

It is also reachable from Oshiage (Tokyo Skytree Station), approximately a 15–20 minute walk from Tokyo Skytree.
For travelers who feel slightly overwhelmed by highly touristic destinations, this area offers a quieter alternative.
A small, casual stop that adds balance to a sightseeing day.
